Helping Kids Find Peace in Turmoil

Jesus warned and encouraged us in John 16:33. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.  

What gives us peace in tribulation?  

The advocate, God the Father who loves us, and Jesus who will come in victory again—our triune God brings us peace in turmoil.

Every young person needs an advocate—someone who will stand by them. 

  • They need unconditional love—to know they are valued no matter what. 

  •  And they need faithful presence—someone who means it when they say, “I’ll see you again.” 

This is what mentoring is all about. It’s how we help kids find peace—real peace—even in a world that often feels anything but peaceful.
