Small Beginnings

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices . . .”

Zechariah 4:10

· Mentee: Being in T.R.A.C.life has changed the way I think and given me courage!

· T.R.A.C. Director: As we were playing carpet ball, Camper D randomly told me he didn’t believe in God.  I was able to pray with him, and on Sunday at lunch he prayed in front of the group.  It might have been to earn his prayer bead, but either way a seed was planted.

· T.R.A.C.life Director: A landscaping company invited mentoring pairs to drive heavy equipment. Not only did the youth have a blast, but the company also offered youth jobs when they turn 18!

· Caregiver: The bond between my mentee and mentor is incredible!

· T.R.A.C. Director: At CrossTalk, four graduates shared how T.R.A.C. has impacted their lives.  These four demonstrated true leadership the entire weekend! 

As I reflect on the many praises we’ve celebrated over the year from T.R.A.C. and T.R.A.C.life, I can’t help but think about Zechariah 4:10. “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices . . .”

Every moment, every conversation, every smile is the beginning of hope in the lives touched by Teen Reach.

Let us rejoice with our Heavenly Father who rejoices in small beginnings.
